Tia Juana’s Beach Cantina
An oasis of healthy and freshly crafted Mexican cuisine, Tia Juana’s Beach Cantina is located at the entrance to the famed Ka‘anapali Resort. The spectacular setting, design and ambiance are casual and fun. They use only the finest ingredients, with tortillas and salsa made fresh every day. Try the camarones al mojo de ajo (found only in fine Mexican restaurants), the taco del Juana, or TJ’s original New York steak asada. Excelente! And don’t forget the margarita list (featured as “Best Margarita” on Maui in BEST Guidebook)—it’s impressive as well, and includes the famous Da Kine, Golden Cadillac, Strawberry Basil, and several more. Tia Juana’s is upstairs, and renowned musician Donavon Frankenreiter’s hang-loose Margarita House is downstairs.
