Clytie Mead

Since coming to Hawaii almost twenty years ago, Clytie Mead has been fascinated by the natural beauty and cultural diversity of the islands. She paints both lush exotic blooms and rare native plants, using the ancient Chinese technique of watercolor on silk. Tapa designs, Hawaiian quilts, and native birds appear in her paintings.
