39th Annual Maui Marathon & Race Weekend Events

Date: 09/18/2009 - 09/20/2009

Recognized as one of the 10 Most Scenic Marathons in North America, the Maui Marathon is also a weekend of fun events in Ka‘anapali. During the day on Fri./Sat. check out the Sports & Fitness Expo. Enjoy great food and entertainment at the Carbo Luau Fri. afternoon at 3 pm or 6 pm. On Sat. the Maui Tacos 5K Fun Run/Walk begins at 8 am in Whalers Village and goes around the resort. The Marathon starts at 5:30 am on Sun. at Queen Ka‘ahumanu Center and continues for 26.2 miles through Kahului, across the Pali, into LahainaTown, and back on Honoapiilani Hwy. to Ka‘anapali. At the Whalers Village finish line, take part in fundraising activities for Maui charities.
