1. Start your Maui Day early at the picture postcard Ma’alaea Harbor. It’s time for some fun on the ocean: Book a Molokini Snorkel Cruise aboard Four Winds II with Maui Classic Charters. Molokini is the famed crescent-shaped crater off of Maui’s South Shore and chock full of marine life. Their other boat, Maui Magic, offers a “Wet ‘N Wild” Maui adventure aboard a state of the art high tech boat. Both trips offer free snorkel instruction for beginners.
2. When back on land in Ma’alaea Harbor, walk over to Ma’alaea Harbor Shops & Restaurants. Don’t miss the Hawaiian gourmet cookies at Hula Cookies & Ice Cream, the authentic Hawaiian shirts and apparel at Moonbow Tropics, and if you’re hungry unwind at the laid back Beach Bum’s Bar & Grill. Don’t leave yet! Walk a few steps over to the Maui Ocean Center Hawaiian Aquarium (“Voted Hawaii’s Top Rated Family Attraction”).
