Hawaiian Vacation for Two!

LAHAINA (WEST MAUI)

1. Start your Maui morning with BREAKFAST at Longhis (From Eggs Bennedicts to pancakes, waffles, fresh island fruit and house-made pastries).

2. Head over to the Old Lahaina Courthouse (facing Lahaina Harbor and behind the giant Banyan Tree). Inside youll find the Lahaina Visitor Center. Get oriented and stroll the Lahaina Historical Walking Tour (Dont miss the Baldwin House nearby and the Wo Hing Temple further up on Front Street). Mix in shopping and visit the many galleries in-between historic sites.
Tip: On weekends, check out the Arts & Crafts Fair under the banyan tree.

3. Time for LUNCH: Kimos is a landmark restaurant right on the water, right on the money, right in the center of town. Kick-back casual and kid-friendly.

4. After lunch, drive a mile up the coast to Kaanapali Resort and park at Whalers Village Shopping Center. Take your beachwear (swimsuits, towels, chairs & suntan lotion). Soak up the sun on world-famous Kaanapali Beach (snorklers will love Black Rock in front of the Sheraton Resort). After the beach, stroll the shops of Whalers Village (Dolphin Galleries features Hawaiian-inspired jewelry by island artist Mikel).

5. At Night: Take in the ever popular award-winning Old Lahaina Luau (Book well in advance). Another great choice: Laugh your head off while being dazzled by world-class magic at Warren & Annnabelles. If you are only in the mood for dinner, Sansei in Kapalua (famed for sushi and Japanese Pacific Fusion) or Lahaina Grill in Lahaina (award winning New American Cuisine) are two excellent choices (Reservations suggested at both).
